Requirements

5 to 7 years of experience in the design and/or investigation of structures

Experience in the investigation of structural failures and/or preparation of reports for attorney clients preferred.

Licensure – EIT min. Working towards SE licensure

Responsibilities

We are looking for a structural engineer to assist in structural investigations, analyses, and repair design. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Review of structural designs for code compliance

Structural analysis, document review, and research for root cause evaluation

On-site inspections and collection of data. Note that site inspections may require multi-day travel to other parts of the country

Preparation of reports and repair details

Regular attendance in the office (located at the Wrigley Building, 410 N Michigan Ave)
