Responsibilities
Associate Managing Editor
is responsible for a range of editorial services, including leading the editorial work for assigned accounts, which entails medical editing, fact checking, preparing submissions of pharmaceutical marketing materials, and reviewing internal and client changes.
In addition, the Associate Managing Editor must demonstrate leadership skills, act as an Editorial voice across all departments, and is responsible for directly managing Senior Medical Editors, Medical Editors, and Associate Medical Editors, providing them with timely feedback, guidance, and coaching to support their growth and development.
The Associate Managing Editor must adhere to internal agency process and adhere to and enforce best practices for Editorial across the agency.
The Associate Managing Editor is expected to uphold the Precision Guiding Principles of Accountability, Mutual Respect, Client Service, Collaboration, and Purpose in all areas of work.
