Responsibilities
The Senior Associate Director is responsible for the creation, coordination, and execution of direct response fundraising content for Georgetown University Medical Center's (GUMC) annual giving constituencies—both medical school and medical center affiliates.
As part of the GUMC Annual Giving team, the role works in coordination with the Office of Advancement and University Communications, as well as with multiple stakeholders across GUMC units, to develop engaging fundraising communications that drive fundraising results aligned with the university’s giving goals and priorities.
The role creates and manages the necessary operational workflows to deliver high-quality, timely content.
Develop compelling mass market fundraising messaging across channels, working closely across teams to source and repurpose content aligned with GUMC’s fundraising goals and institutional priorities for the annual giving program.
Coordinate, write, and edit direct response, multi-channel fundraising content, including appeals and stewardship for a variety of audiences.
With the support of the Director, manage creative and content timelines, workflows, and approvals for multiple fundraising campaigns at once across the internal team and external partners.
