Requirements
Experience with low/medium/high voltage electrical equipment, including but not limited to switchgear, MCCs, motors, transformers, buses, etc., preferred Experience with protective relaying preferred.
Experience with arc flash analysis and electrical modeling preferred.
Travel between power plants and the EDPM and outside of the St.

Responsibilities
The Engineer performs engineering studies, design, and project management activities for new and existing power generation plant systems.
Manage and/or support projects involving electrical equipment and related systems.
Develop engineering solutions, cost and schedule estimates, and preliminary designs associated with initial development and budgeting of projects.
Upon project authorization, perform detailed design and work with drafting to complete drawings, prepare requisitions and specifications for equipment and construction contracts, analyze proposals, produce cost and schedule estimates, and assist or lead in the planning and coordination of projects.
Lead the checkout and start-up of the new equipment.
Provide engineering assistance to energy centers and other departments within the company on activities requiring experience and expertise with electrical systems.
