Registered Nurse - CICU

Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario

Two (2) years recent cardiology experience

Completion of a recognized Critical Care Course

Capable of complying to the physical demands of the unit

Previous CICU/ICU experience required

Coronary Intensive Care Unit (CICU) (2ES)

As a member of the Coronary Intensive Care Unit (CICU) team, the Registered Nurse will practice in accordance with relevant legislation/standards, meeting the legal and ethical requirements of the profession.

Assessment (systematically collecting data about the health of the patient for initial screening, on-going or selected in-depth assessment in order to determine diagnosis)

Planning (identifying priorities, target dates, strategies or interventions in order to contribute to the individualized care plan and achieving optimal outcome for the patient)
