What We Offer
The minimum salary for this non-exempt position is $40,000 (per 1.0 FTE/45 hours). The role includes a $1,000 signing bonus—and an annual $2,000 retention bonus in subsequent years, as well as other bonuses, when eligible. This role follows our School Year calendar. Responsibilities
Campus Substitute
KIPP MA is looking for talented, committed, and culturally competent campus substitute teachers who will add capacity by substitute teaching and covering duties as assigned. The Campus Sub will provide immediate coverage for educators during daily absences and may also assume the role of Lead Teacher during short-term absences. In doing so, the Campus Sub helps ensure that our students get the consistency and valuable education they deserve all school-year long. The Campus Substitute role is ideal for someone considering a career in teaching who wants to learn by doing and exploring a variety of grade levels and content areas. At the end of their year with KIPP MA, a Campus Substitute could potentially be hired into a variety of roles for the following year, depending on individual performance.
