Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
Three years of direct service in early education

Responsibilities
Develop and implement training, consultation, and technical assistance to child care providers and coaches at Child Care Resource & Referral to support the retention of children with disabilities and developmental delays, children who have experienced trauma, and children who are exhibiting behaviors that teachers experience as challenging. This work will frequently be done onsite at preschool programs, which include family child care, schools, and child care centers.
Utilize expertise in early childhood special education and/or early childhood mental health, trauma-informed practices, and culturally relevant strategies to make recommendations for services, accommodations, or changes in the environment
Coordinate multiple service providers, communicate with families, and provide ongoing support for the most challenging situations to ensure successful placements and ongoing retention of children in partnership with the Preschool for All coach
Support the development and ongoing coordination of workflows and communication procedures between early childhood special education,early childhood mental health, Child Care Resource & Referral, preschool providers, and families
Develop, implement and maintain quality management plan and systems for inclusion support program, based on the needs and feedback of preschool families and providers, racial equity, and trauma-informed practices
Develop training manuals, system-wide training plan, and other needed documents regarding procedures, regulations, and services available to support inclusion and retention of preschoolers
