The Yard Driver is responsive to the customer and local Lead/Supervisor regarding the movement and spotting of trailers to facilitate the needs of the warehouse in sorting and processing material for shipment or storage.

\u25CF Movement and spotting of trailers in a safe, efficient, timely and legal manner.\u00A0

\u25CF Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.\u00A0

\u25CF Operate equipment, such as truck cab computers, CB radios, phones, or global positioning systems (GPS) equipment to exchange necessary information with bases, supervisors, or other drivers.\u00A0

\u25CF Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, following signals from loading crew and checking that vehicle and loading equipment are properly positioned.\u00A0

\u25CF Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as adding oil, fuel, or radiator fluid, performing minor repairs, and/or washing trucks.\u00A0
