Requirements
5+ years in insurance/reinsurance accounting with progressive leadership; deep GAAP for re/insurance; Statutory accounting familiarity preferred.
Proven close leadership (month/quarter), audit ownership, and compelling executive/board communication.
Strong data orientation (Excel/PowerQuery/Power BI or similar); experience with process automation and data quality improvements preferred.
Relationship savvy across internal and external partners.

Responsibilities
Financial leadership, planning & performance
Own NIS reinsurance financials and annual operating rhythm (close calendar, board/leadership reporting cycles).
Convert treaty and portfolio performance (ELR, margin, UW profit, float) into clear, actionable insights.
Partner with Management, Actuarial, and Program leadership on renewals and capital allocation decisions.
Close, reporting & narratives (oversight)
Set standards for monthly/quarterly reinsurance close in accordance with the consolidated close calendar
