Material Handler 1- Packing- Nights

Strong attention to detail and ability to work at a fast pace.

Basic computer skills for data entry.

Self-motivated, safety-focused, and a team player.

Willingness to wear required PPE (gloves, safety glasses, ear plugs, hard hat, cut-resistant sleeves, steel-toe boots with met guard).

Must be able to maintain departmental production and quality standards with little supervision.

Teamwork is essential, must be able to work closely and effectively communicate with coworkers.

The Material Handler in our Packing Department is focused on  receiving and packing metal from our finishing departments and reports to the Packing Department Manager.

Must pack according to the standardized process regarding box quantity and fan fold size, unless otherwise specified by the customer.

Must pack in a way that protects all exposed surfaces en route to customer.

Ensures quality in the process including verification of the part, quantities, quality, finish, and the correct length of the metal.

Assist with general housekeeping in Packing department.
