Requirements
Experience within a medical center and Biomedical Engineering department
Experience working in or with the Veterans Health Administration (VHA)
Understanding of VISN, VA medical center, and Biomedical Engineering department operations
A minimum of three years of hospital or healthcare experience maintaining medical equipment or managing a hospital medical equipment program.
Must have proven experience working within the U.S. Department of Veteran's Affairs
Demonstrated knowledge of concepts related to computer based medical systems, networking protocols, and information security as it applies to medical technology within VHA.

$90,000 - $115,000

Responsibilities
Blue Water Thinking is looking for an Interfaces Project Manager - Biomedical Engineering to lead small-scale projects encompassing multiple tasks with a total life cycle budget and complexity comparable to the task order at hand.
Tasks may include tracking and coordinating medical device and clinical system interfaces through the project lifecycle; formulating and defining system scope and objectives in accordance with the customer technical requirements; compiling and analyzing technical data; advising client management and customers on complex system projects and activities; working closely with customers to define communication systems and equipment requirements; providing instruction on and performing and documenting quality assurance reviews.
