Work Environment & Physical Demands
Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stand or be on your feet, kneel and bend for extended periods of time
Regularly work in adverse conditions and required to use protective equipment to prevent exposure to hazardous materials as well as an office environment and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces
Must be able to frequently lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance

Responsibilities
The Snowmaking Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of snowmaking activities including managing the snowmaking team and safely operating snowmaking equipment on a regular basis. This position reports to the Snowmaking Manager.
Essential Job Functions / Key Job Responsibilities
Maintain all snowmaking equipment and machinery including compressors, pumps, control systems, and anything else associated with the snowmaking operation
Advise and recommend purchasing decisions for equipment, capital investment, design and operation
Help lead and direct the design, planning and installation of snowmaking expansion and repair projects
Implement long term strategy for energy efficiency, reducing water consumption and minimizing snowmaking builds within the parameters of seasonal temperatures, operation dates and event calendar
