The Accountant will be responsible for the following core areas:

Financial Close & General Ledger: Own the timely and accurate execution of assigned tasks during the month-end and year-end closing processes.

Prepare and/or review complex journal entries, ensure account reconciliations are completed, and investigate discrepancies to maintain the integrity of the general ledger.

Financial Reporting Support: Assist the finance leadership team in preparing accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Audit & Tax Preparation: Lead the organization and preparation of necessary schedules and documentation for the annual external audit, the Form 990 filing, and other relevant tax filings.

Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors for routine requests.
