Responsibilities
A Quality Specialist is responsible for overseeing and enhancing quality assurance processes to meet performance goals and compliance standards.
In addition, a Quality Specialist will support improvement initiatives aligned with development, manufacturing, customers, products, etc.
Develops and implements inspection and test procedures in accordance with established specifications.
Oversees the maintenance and calibration of inspection and testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Conducts comprehensive analyses (e.g., failure analysis, root cause analysis) and tests (e.g., nondestructive, destructive) of materials, components, and/or assemblies.
Prepares summaries and trend analyses of quality issues, providing recommendations for corrective and preventive actions.
