1-3 years working in microbiology-related industries;
Be experienced on a number of wide variety routine and some non-routine microbiology techniques, methods and procedures;
Be able to write lab reports;
Follow Standard Operating Procedures {SOP's) when conducting the following duties:
Perform sample preparation and procedures prior to analyses;
Meet Quality and Turnaround Time specifications required by the client;

Responsibilities
Analyst I is responsible for providing basic technical support and analysis of Cosmetics products within the Microbiology Testing Laboratory.
The incumbent is responsible for:
Perform the maintenance and usage of equipment as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Prepare media based on manufacturer instructions; execute the growth promotion tests for all prepared media.
Collect plates/tubes/bags and place them in the incubator for the specified amount of time and temperature.
Perform Microbial Limit testing using EP/BP/USP method for samples.
