Accountability & ownership:
Capable of managing across a range of unique sites, applying principles of business and operational excellence to the distinctive needs of each hospital
Able to diagnose business challenges and opportunities with available data and form action plans to drive performance
Identifies growth and innovation opportunities based on experience and interaction with local hospital teams
Helps sell the case for change with hospital teams and senior leaders, including assessing the impact of site-level initiatives
Demonstrates strong leadership and collaboration by quickly building trust and rapport with hospital teams, veterinarians, and JV Partners, and actively engaging them in collective problem-solving.
Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day operations of veterinary hospitals with full responsibility for a $120M+ P&L
The individual will build and maintain exceptional relationships with Hospital Administrators, Medical Directors, and their teams.
This will extend to new practices as they are acquired, preserving their unique cultures as the hospitals grow
Balance the need for preserving each unique hospital culture, while ensuring future positive growth and innovation The Director will report directly to the Vice President of Operations, East, who is responsible for field operations across Ethos hospitals in the eastern US.
Demonstrated business acumen and knowledge of staffing, capacity, ROI, budget, margins, service and product offerings, to implement and drive strategic and relevant operational outcomes
The Director will have the ability to contribute to the company’s overall strategy, resolve strategic issues, and help manage operations effectively to achieve objectives
