Responsibilities
Planet is looking for a strategic Industry Marketing Manager to help grow our commercial business.
In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders from across the global commercial business group to drive demand for our products and solutions among industry audiences worldwide.
This role sits on the Product, Industry, Partner and Customer Marketing team and is responsible for developing compelling narratives that resonate with audiences in agriculture, energy, insurance and other industry verticals.
On a day-to-day basis, you will deeply understand customer challenges, determine effective engagement strategies, and arm sales and marketing stakeholders with the right messaging, content, and competitive insights.
This role offers the opportunity to market groundbreaking data products and AI-powered solutions built on our unique near-daily Earth scan.
You’ll partner closely with sales to establish Planet’s unique role in several markets and have the autonomy to determine priorities, deciding not only which projects to pursue, but also how to craft and deliver the messaging.
