Responsibilities
Drive the implementation of data governance and data management policies across all data products.
Oversee the day-to-day management of the enterprise data catalog (e.g., Collibra, Atlas), ensuring all data products are accurately registered with complete metadata and lineage.
Define, implement, and monitor data quality rules and metrics for data products, ensuring they meet established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Collaborate with data pipeline teams to ensure "governance is baked in" from the start of the development lifecycle.
Act as a key point of contact for data stewards and data consumers, helping to resolve data quality issues and improve data literacy.
Mentor junior analysts on data governance principles, data quality best practices, and catalog management.
