Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Entertainment Industry working in show development and operation of live shows drafting ground plans, detail drawings, schematics, 3D images, etc
Experience in themed design, drafting schematics, floor plans, and three-dimensional models utilizing Autodesk Revit
Comprehensive understanding of all aspects of Computer Aided Design and coordinated models
Ability to integrate design intent data from various platforms (2D and 3D)
Ability to translate 3D models to 2D design intent drawings
Working knowledge of current technology and industry standards for a wide variety of theatrical designs (audio, video, broadcast, effects, lighting, and control systems, scenery and facilities construction methodology) as applied to live show and facility systems (theatrical, industrial, concert, touring, etc.)

The CAD Designer (Seasonal) with Disney Live Entertainment (DLE) synthesizes technical design intent for events, theatrical shows, and parades that delight guests at Disney Parks and Resorts around the world.
Whether developing new shows or sustaining our existing offerings, DLE CAD Designers create the drawing packages, models, and visualization resources that bring our shows to life.
In this role, you will translate ideas and sketches through 3D CAD/BIM Software into documentation and models used by our partners to produce a variety of themed entertainment offerings.
This job is highly collaborative, with CAD Designers constantly acting as information conduits to the larger design team.
