Requirements
10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security architecture, or cloud security
3+ years of experience securing AI, machine learning, data science, or advanced analytics platforms
Demonstrated experience developing enterprise security architectures
Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies, LLMs, agentic AI frameworks, cloud security architectures, identity and access management, threat modeling, and risk management
Experience with enterprise cloud platforms, including AWS and Azure
Relevant cybersecurity, cloud security, enterprise architecture, and AI security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, SABSA, AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer, or equivalent
Responsibilities
The AI Security Architect reports to the Manager, Cybersecurity Technology.
This role is responsible for defining, designing, and governing the security architecture for Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI, Agentic AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Machine Learning (ML) solutions across the enterprise.
The AI Security Architect provides technical leadership to ensure AI technologies are deployed securely, comply with regulatory and governance requirements, and align with enterprise cybersecurity standards.
This role partners with business, AI governance, cloud, infrastructure, application, and cybersecurity teams to enable secure AI adoption while managing emerging AI-related risks.
Develop and maintain Enterprise Security AI security technology roadmap, standards, and reference architectures
Establish AI security design principles, guardrails, and governance requirements
