Nice to have:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field

3+ years of electrical design experience

Experience with professional ECAD tools such as Altium

Responsibilities

As an early member of a new engineering team, you will play a key role in mechanical actuators and fixtures for manufacturing testers to support Redwood Energy. You’ll be involved in the design of testers for implementation in manufacturing as well as field settings to screen our products. This role requires a hands-on, proactive attitude paired with a methodical and analytical approach to problem-solving.

Design electrical systems & circuits for high volume manufacturing testers

Design PCB assemblies including data acquisition circuits, breakout boards, and wiring harnesses

Collaborate with electrical and mechanical design engineers on design for manufacture considerations

Spec and integrate third party equipment such as high voltage power supplies, computers, and DAQs
