Education and/or Experience:
Must be experienced in PLC logic and programming with any of the following PLC’s: Allen Bradly, Siemens. AA in Electrical Engineering Technology, Industrial Automation, or Mechatronics Technology preferred plus 2 years’ related experience in an industrial manufacturing setting; OR an equivalent combination of related education and/or experience. Certification of AB training courses a plus
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and motor controls.

Responsibilities
Summary:
The Industrial Electrical Controls Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical control systems and automation equipment within an industrial manufacturing environment. This position ensures production equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably by supporting PLC systems, motor controls, instrumentation, and electrical distribution equipment. The technician works closely with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment performance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include those listed below, other duties may be assigned. This position is a full-time (minimum 40 hours per week) on-site position.
Electrical & Controls Maintenance
Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems and control circuits.
Diagnose issues in PLC systems, motor controls, sensors, drives, and automation equipment.
