Compensation & Benefits

: $22.00 to $25.50 per hour.

SUMMARY

Reporting to the production supervisor, the Mill Operator will perform semi-skilled labor with regard to all aspects of mill maintenance and operations ensuring optimization of production to manufacture feed.

Responsibilities

Utilize computer programmed batching system to receive and manufacture feed

Assist in the completion of minor maintenance work in order to maintain production until a permanent fix can be put into place by maintenance personnel

Inspect and unplug chutes; inspect rolls for proper gap and lubrication; driers for proper set up and performance

After appropriate training, operate all process equipment including powered industrial vehicles

Perform mill operation duties relating to the conveyance, conditioning, rolling/grinding, pelleting, mixing, and loadout of materials

Assist in start-up and shut down of operations
