In the provision of patient and non-patient care activities, the primary responsibilities of the Social Worker in the inpatient Geriatric, MSK, and Multi-System Rehab include:

The innovative application of social work processes in psychosocial assessment, education, supportive and adjustment counselling with patients and families;
