Responsibilities
ENSCO is seeking an experienced Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to support environmental compliance, occupational safety, emergency management, and regulatory compliance programs at the Transportation Technology Center (TTC).
Reporting to the Manager of Safety, Health, Environmental & Emergency Services, this position serves as a Hazardous Materials Emergency Responder and Hazardous Waste Technician while supporting OSHA, environmental, and railroad safety programs.
The incumbent will work independently to administer compliance programs, conduct inspections and investigations, coordinate corrective actions, maintain regulatory records, support emergency response, and deliver EHS training to employees, contractors, and customers.
Administer SPCC, RCRA, EPCRA, stormwater, industrial wastewater, pollution prevention, and UST/AST compliance programs.
Conduct environmental inspections and hazardous waste inspections; maintain permits, records, and regulatory reports.
Coordinate hazardous waste collection, storage, transportation, recycling, and disposal activities.
