Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS Pharmacy degree or higher

Currently licensed to practice pharmacy in the state of Michigan or eligible for licensure*

State of Michigan licensure as a Registered Pharmacists is required within 90 days of employment

A Day in the Life of an Ambulatory

Clinical Pharmacist

Munson Medical Center is seeking an innovative, patient-centered Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacist to join the care team at the Munson Family Practice Center. This role delivers comprehensive medication management for a diverse patient population with a strong emphasis on anticoagulation services. As a key member of an interdisciplinary team, the pharmacist will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other clinicians to optimize therapy, enhance safety, and support chronic disease management.

The pharmacist will serve as the primary preceptor for ambulatory rotations for Munson Medical Center PGY1 residents and Ferris State University P4 students, while also engaging with the Munson Family Medicine Residency Program affiliated with Michigan State University Colleges of Osteopathic and Human Medicine.

Responsibilities include leading anticoagulation management, providing direct patient care through office visits and telehealth, performing medication reviews, and developing individualized care plans. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical judgment, creativity, and a passion for advancing ambulatory pharmacy services. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape pharmacy-driven care programs and make a meaningful impact on the community.
