Director of Strategic Finance and Business Development

Sotheby’s is evolving from a storied auction house into a unified global luxury platform.

We are seeking a powerhouse finance professional to help execute this vision.

This role will sit at the center of a high-growth mandate, consolidating independent global initiatives under the umbrella of Sotheby’s Development Advisors (SDA), including but not limited to: real estate development and management projects; art and luxury storage offerings; hospitality and brand licensing; expanding real estate sales platforms and related technology development; advancing educational partnerships; growing F&B and event space revenue at our flagship locations; and driving net new growth initiatives, both organically and through acquisition.

Evaluate investments and develop capital structures for the development of global luxury properties

Structure complex partnership deals with developers and hospitality groups using benefit sharing models to expand the brand ecosystem

Develop financial models that support the overall strategic growth plan and maximize return on investment across different project stages in each business line within the SDA portfolio
