EVS Associate - Washington Township Hospital (PT, Evenings)

EVS Positions require rotating weekends and holidays.

$17.00 to $20.84 Hourly

The actual hiring rate will be determined based on candidate experience, skills and qualifications. This position is not eligible for an annual incentive.

The Environmental Services (EVS) Associate aides in maintaining a high quality standard of housekeeping.

This includes performing cleaning functions in assigned areas while following assigned schedules and specific methods to provide patients, visitors, and staff with a sanitary, orderly, and safe patient care environment.

EVS Associates aid in prevention of cross contamination, controlling bacteria, odor, and sustaining acceptable aseptic conditions.

They may assist with moves, recycling, delivery of supplies, and the removal of trash and biohazard waste.

Proper disposal of biohazards according to EPA and OSHA codes and regulations.

Handle the disposal of environmental Contaminants such as: batteries, thermometers (mercury), and needles.
