Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering
Master’s Degree is a plus.
Engineer-In-Training (EI) designation is preferred. The expectation is that such candidate would be working towards becoming a Professional Engineer (P.E.)
Candidate shall have a minimum of three (3) years of experience; candidates with more experience preferred.
Excellent technical writing skills.
Outstanding organizational skills.
Responsibilities
Candidate shall work on various aspects of civil engineering design, plan preparation, permitting and construction oversight while working in a project team environment.
Planning, design, and construction management of infrastructure projects focusing on water and wastewater projects but could include other infrastructure projects. Projects may include the following: Wastewater Conveyance and Pump Stations; Water Supply; Water Distribution and Storage; Master planning services including hydraulic modeling, and more.
Candidate would contribute to projects including collecting existing utility data; performing modeling and simulation; site grading; water distribution system; sanitary sewer collection system; drainage analysis; roadway alignment; pavement marking; signage; and erosion control.
Prepare project design drawings utilizing AutoCAD and other design software
Develop project specific detail drawings.
Calculate project construction quantity estimates.
