Requirements
You are comfortable taking ownership of complex systems and leading projects from concept through production.
7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong backend focus using modern frameworks (Ruby on Rails, Python).
Experience with a relational database (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
Experience designing and operating distributed systems with high reliability and data integrity requirements.
Experience working with data pipelines, event‑driven architectures, or real‑time processing systems.
You communicate clearly with technical and non‑technical partners and can translate business and clinical needs into technical plans.

We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to lead development of critical platform capabilities that power Omada’s connected care experience.
This role focuses on building and scaling reliable systems that integrate and validate critical health data and enable real‑time, clinically meaningful insights for care teams and members.
You will operate at the intersection of data integrations, backend systems, and healthcare workflows, delivering accurate, timely, and actionable data that directly impacts patient outcomes.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will lead the design and implementation of backend services and platform capabilities that support large‑scale, data‑rich applications.
You will own projects end‑to‑end from technical design through implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing reliability while partnering with product, data science, and clinical teams to turn complex requirements into simple, robust solutions.
