Requirements
Must have an Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma or Ontario Ministry of Education equivalency.
Must possess a current Certificate of Qualification 310B (Auto Body & Collision Damage Repairer).
Must hold and maintain a current valid and lawful Class G driver’s licence in accordance with the Highway Traffic Act, for the purposes of operating a City of Windsor vehicle and provide authorization for Transit Windsor to obtain a driver’s abstract as a condition of employment.
Should have knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act and knowledge of the hazards associated with work

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Supervisor, Fleet Maintenance, this position will be responsible for repairing and restoring motorized vehicles and other equipment to original condition utilizing proper tools and methods.
Will abide by all government acts and regulations in a safe, efficient and professional manner;
Estimates damages and prepares written and oral reports;
Repairs, replaces, renews, modifies and fabricates motorized vehicles and equipment by the following techniques: fibreglass, welding, sanding, bumping and grinding;
Restores vehicles and equipment for painting (ie: taping, priming, mixing paint);
Paints by using spray gun and with the use of proper safety equipment;
