Responsibilities
This role is critical to ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and the development of robust radiological protection measures for safe and efficient operations.
Develop and implement radiological protection programs and strategies for nuclear facility design and licensing.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to incorporate radiation protection measures into facility design, including shielding, ventilation, and monitoring systems.
Conduct dose assessments for workers, the public, and the environment using advanced modeling and analytical tools.
Evaluate radiological instrumentation and monitoring systems to ensure adequacy and compliance with project requirements.
Provide technical support during regulatory reviews, inspections, and hearings.
