Experience in managing Tax compliance required.

5+ years of progressive, proven experience across both industry and large accounting firms working with global companies.

A dedication to think big, use data to drive strategy, challenge convention, and potentially reinvent how work is done

Experience with NetSuite is a plus

The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is listed below.  In select locations (including Seattle WA, Los Angeles CA, the San Francisco Bay Area CA, and the New York City Metro Area), an alternate range may apply as specified below.

These ranges represent

the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the ranges may be modified in the future.

An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.

Responsibilities

We’re seeking a collaborative and driven Tax Manager to join our Tax team and focus on international taxes in jurisdictions outside of the United States.

As part of a multi-functional global Finance team, you will be a critical member ensuring we operate most efficiently and optimally as Elastic continues to scale.

You’ll also engage with a diverse range of Elasticians and external business partners across the globe and are constantly learning, growing, and adapting.

This role will have two direct reports.

Lead all aspects of international GAAP, IFRS, and local statutory tax provisions, including working with Elasticians across various teams and external auditors

Ensure compliance with SOX controls and reporting as a public company
