Requirements

You love building resilient infrastructure but have an even greater love for how it’s deployed and managed.

You make decisions based on data and are not afraid of experimenting to get the information you need.

Experience contributing to the design, development, or operation of cloud and infrastructure platforms that support other engineers or teams

Hands-on experience running production workloads on AWS, including designing and operating infrastructure using Terraform or similar infrastructure as code tools

Experience building, operating, or supporting systems on Kubernetes (EKS), including containerized workloads and supporting platform services

Experience designing or operating service networking and routing, such as service discovery, traffic management, or edge routing using tools like Cilium, Envoy, Kong, or Fastly

Responsibilities

Design, build, and operate shared cloud and networking platforms that support a modern, containerized, service-oriented architecture

Improve reliability, observability, security, and scalability through automation, standards, and well-considered abstractions

Engineer resilient and observable networking infrastructure that supports a diverse set of workloads across regions and environments

Build and maintain golden paths for compute, networking, and infrastructure to help teams deploy and operate services safely

Participate in operating production systems, including supporting releases, taking part in an on-call rotation, and contributing to incident response and follow-up work

Partner with application and platform teams to reduce friction in deployment, routing, monitoring, and scaling
