Litigation and E-Discovery Counsel

Litigation Experience:

4+ years of litigation experience within a law firm, government agency, or corporate legal department, with a strong preference for prior in-house experience at a technology company.

Regulatory & Legal Framework Familiarity:

Broad experience handling legal risk, conducting deep legal research, and navigating complex regulatory compliance and data privacy frameworks relevant to commercial disputes.

Adversarial & Authority Interaction:

Direct experience managing commercial disputes, responding to regulatory inquiries, or handling adversarial legal matters from inception through resolution or trial.

Samsara is looking to expand its in-house legal roster with an agile litigator able to work across litigation, compliance, and privacy matters.

The role requires the ability to advise cross-functional teams on litigation strategy and to collaborate and manage outside counsel.

You will succeed in this role if you recognize that litigation requires more than a one-size-fits-all approach, and you’re willing and able to adapt your style to meet the nature of the dispute, the parties involved, and business priorities.
