Responsibilities

You will help us build, globally scale, and continuously improve our bill pay product and adjacent payments offerings.

You'll be a subject matter expert on money transmission and payments regulation, providing strategic advice on risk and regulatory ambiguity as we ship new features.

Embedded with engineering, design, and product, you'll partner from the earliest stages of ideation through launch—translating complex regulatory requirements into practical product decisions and helping the team move fast without compromising on compliance.

You'll also collaborate closely with cross-functional partners (including compliance, risk, marketing, sales, partnerships, and bank and payments-network relationships) to find creative solutions to business problems.

You know how to break a project down into first principles and see it from concept to release, and you understand when to solve a problem in-house versus when to strategically and cost-effectively deploy outside counsel.

Serve as the embedded legal partner to engineering, design, and product teams building bill pay and payments features, advising in real time as products are designed and built
