Requirements

As part of the selection process, candidates will be required to complete the Epic Sphinx Assessment. Assessment results will be considered alongside relevant experience, interview performance, and organizational needs as part of a holistic evaluation process.

Nice to have:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, Clinical Informatics, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

*Employees hired into this role as part of the initial Epic implementation may be hired prior to obtaining Epic certification and will complete required certification through organization-sponsored Epic training.

Responsibilities

At MaineGeneral Health, our ancillary departments play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care.

We're seeking Epic Analysts – Ancillary to join our Information Technology team and help optimize the Epic applications that support diagnostic imaging, laboratory and other clinical support services.

Epic Analysts serve as trusted partners to clinical and operational leaders by analyzing workflows, configuring Epic applications, implementing new functionality, and providing ongoing application support.

This position focuses on Epic applications that support ancillary clinical departments while ensuring systems are reliable, efficient, and aligned with organizational goals.

Collaborate with ancillary department leaders and end users to evaluate workflows and identify opportunities for improvement.
