Requirements
Data Center Engineering Expertise:
Deep technical command of L1-L3 networking (OSPF, BGP, EVPN/VXLAN, IPv4/IPv6) and hands-on experience operating major switching platforms like Arista, Cisco, or Juniper.
NetDevOps & Automation Toolkit:
Proven ability to manage infrastructure through code, utilizing Linux proficiency and scripting (Python/Shell) to build Ansible-driven deployment and monitoring solutions.
Security & Service Integration:
Extensive experience configuring data center firewalls, load balancers, and network zones to maintain robust security postures across complex lab and production environments.
Responsibilities
As a Senior NetDevOps Engineer, you will be a founding technical pillar for our new Plano, Texas data center, bridging the gap between hardware engineering and software-driven automation. You will design and deploy high-performance spine-leaf fabrics that serve as the backbone for Pure’s global R&D, ensuring our engineering teams have the deterministic capacity they need to innovate. Collaborating across Infrastructure Engineering, you’ll transform complex networking requirements into automated, self-healing services that power the future of data storage.
Architect & Deploy Next-Gen Fabrics:
Own the end-to-end design and implementation of Clos spine–leaf data center fabrics (BGP EVPN/VXLAN) and VRF-based segmentation to provide secure, scalable connectivity for Plano and our global R&D sites.
Drive Infrastructure as Code:
Develop and maintain automated workflows using Ansible, Python, and ZTP to standardize configuration templates, integrating network provisioning directly into compute and PDU commissioning workflows.
