Compensation & Benefits
The expected salary range for this role is $96,023 - $120,029. However, the starting base pay will depend on a number of factors including the candidate’s location, skills, experience, market demands, and internal pay parity. Depending on the position offered, equity and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package.

Responsibilities
The Senior Accountant will play a key role in ensuring the integrity of our financial records and in developing scalable and sustainable processes as the business grows. As the Senior Accountant you will be exposed to a variety of areas, including but not limited to our charge card, payment and SaaS products, account reconciliations, fluctuation analysis and more. You will work cross functionally within a detail-oriented environment where creative problem solving is highly valued. The Senior Accountant is expected to manage multiple priorities concurrently without compromising quality, accuracy or completeness.
Ownership of the accounting processes, policies and activities related to the primary Brex products (i.e. Brex Card and Spend Management SaaS product). This includes assessing the appropriateness of estimates, setting up reconciliations, and working with cross-functional teams to drive system improvements with appropriate supervision.
From time to time, supporting areas such as prepaids, accruals, fixed assets, internal use software, cost allocation and international accounting
Ensure timely month-end close through the preparation of journal entries, reconciliations and variance analytics
Identify and deliver process improvements via cross functional collaboration
Create sustainable, repeatable and scalable processes, including the review and update of process documentation
