Responsibilities
Conflicts Analysts play an integral role in a law firm's Conflicts Department.
The Conflicts Department is the central hub through which conflicts of interest checks are processed for new clients, new matters, and new hires.
The Conflicts Analyst is responsible for performing all duties associated with conflict of interest reporting, including corporate research and analysis when required, running data searches, generating conflicts reports, and identifying potential conflicts for further review.
Initial review and intake of new client forms, new matter forms, and change requests
Evaluate requests and perform corporate research if appropriate
Complete conflicts searches and perform an initial review, analysis and interpretation of results, identifying potential conflicts for further review pursuant to the Rules of Professional Conduct
