Minimum of 3 years of experience in a distribution center with an emphasis on equipment operation, material handling, and shipping/receiving, and shag truck experience.
Overall understanding of distribution center processes.
Experience with material handling equipment.
Experience yard switching and/or tractor trailer experience required.
Compensation & Benefits
The hiring range for this role is
$18.60 - $22.50
Hourly. Actual wages will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, and candidate skill set and experience. Base pay is just one component of Jack Link’s Total Rewards package for Team Members. Other rewards may include annual incentive and program-specific awards. Responsibilities
The Shag Truck Driver plays an essential role within the Jack Links Distribution Center.
This position is responsible for maintaining a smooth and accurate flow of trailers to the docks while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to company policies and procedures.
It requires using a shag truck to move semi-trailers and backing them into designated loading docks and parking areas.
The Shag Driver will also keep the drop/staging lot organized, including maintaining a correct inventory within the lot and ensuring all trailers are sealed within the lot.
This position will also perform other duties, as directed by leadership, as well as participate in various areas to ensure the overall effective function of the distribution center.
Adhere to safe work practices, follow GMP’s, maintain sanitary conditions, and ensure that product quality is maintained.
