Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related technical field
5+ years of experience in manufacturing tooling design and implementation
Expert capability with (at least one) 3D CAD software (NX, SolidWorks, Inventor, or CATIA)
Demonstrated experience with tooling design for precision manufacturing processes
Knowledge of machining processes, materials properties, and manufacturing methods
Expert in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)

Build things that build things
Design and develop custom tooling, fixtures, and jigs to support manufacturing operations across multiple product lines
Design integrated end of arm tooling for manufacturing operations that demand high quality and repeatability
Create detailed technical drawings, 3D models, and specifications for tool fabrication using advanced CAD software
Troubleshoot and resolve tooling-related issues in production environments to minimize downtime
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design engineers, manufacturing engineers, and production staff to integrate tooling solutions with manufacturing systems

The Manufacturing Engineering department develops and implements robust manufacturing processes and tooling solutions to ensure Anduril's defense products are produced efficiently, reliably, and at scale at Anduril.
As Manufacturing Tooling Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain innovative tooling systems that enhance our manufacturing capabilities and production efficiency.
