Ability to work from prints/technical drawing

Understanding of technical & non-technical documents related to design & operational characteristics of machine mechanical and electrical systems.

Must have demonstrated a record of flexibility and dependability in order to support production and customer focus.

verifiable overall maintenance experience preferred

The electrical maintenance technician is responsible for helping to ensure Safety of personnel and assets, improve equipment reliability, working with Engineering personnel and supporting capital projects, addressing emergency and unplanned down-time events for plant production lines, and upkeep of plant and facility equipment.

Locate and diagnose failures, replace defective components, and perform basic troubleshooting using standard equipment, detailed drawings, diagrams, sketches, specifications, prints, manuals, and verbal and/or written instructions.

Perform a wide variety of functions such as installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment for generating, distributing, and utilizing electrical or mechanical energy.

Use instruments to test circuits and replace or install new power, light, electronic and control circuits.

Have a broad knowledge of Mechanical Functions and repairs related to the facility and equipment of more than 10 years-or be able to do the following

Help Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, inspect circuits and wiring for shielding and grounding, and test electrical equipment for safety and efficiency.
