Requirements
5+ years of leadership experience in the utility-scale solar EPC industry is required.
Familiarity with NEC codes, ASCE standards, and local regulations.
Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD and Autodesk Civil 3D – not required but a plus.
Responsibilities
Manage and develop a team of Engineering Leads and Project Engineers supporting utility-scale Solar PV and BESS
Support the development and execution of team development plans, providing mentorship and training to enhance technical knowledge, leadership skills, and ownership among team members.
Ensure proper mentorship of junior engineers to ensure consistent application of technical guidelines, design optimization techniques, compliance processes, and Moss standards.
Support the Senior Engineering Manager in continuous process improvement initiatives, to enhance engineering efficiency, design standardization, and process automation.
Gain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, product innovations, and regulatory changes affecting solar and energy storage systems.
Ensure proper collaboration with the engineering team and project management, procurement, and construction teams to ensure timely and efficient execution of engineering deliverables.
