Draftsman - Art & Set Design

4+ years of drafting experience in set design, production design, architecture, or related field

Proficiency in drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Vectorworks, or similar)

Demonstrated ability to convert creative concepts into technical plans

Strong understanding of construction methods and materials

Ability to manage multiple projects with shifting deadlines

The Draftsman – Art & Set Design translates creative concepts into precise technical drawings that enable safe, efficient, and accurate set construction. This role bridges creative vision and physical execution by producing construction-ready plans, elevations, sections, and detailing packages for production teams.

Success in this role ensures builds are executed to specification, within budget, and aligned to creative direction while minimizing rework and production risk.

Produce detailed technical drawings for sets, stages, and scenic builds

Translate concept art and production designs into construction documents

Draft floor plans, elevations, sections, and 3D views as required
