Requirements

Galaxy is seeking a seasoned

with 5+ years of experience in the construction industry to own the end-to-end insurance operations for a rapidly scaling data center portfolio.

You will oversee all insurance broker relationships for the Data Centers Business.

This role will lead the team’s approach to assessing, selecting, implementing, and maintaining insurance coverage across all Data Center workflows.

This role is also responsible for developing and enhancing the Data Center Business’s integration of insurance and risk related procedures into vendor oversight frameworks, ensuring robust performance monitoring, compliance, and risk mitigation practices.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and demonstrates a strong track record of delivering high-quality outputs in fast-paced, dynamic environments.

Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end management of all Data Center insurance policies—including initial underwriting, renewal, claims management, and ongoing maintenance.

Partner with construction, operations, finance, procurement, and legal to proactively identify and address any coverage gaps

Partner with the legal team to draft, review, and negotiate insurance-related provisions in vendor agreements, construction contracts, lease agreements, and other contractual documents

Serve as the internal point of contact for all Data Center insurance-related queries, including coverage interpretation and documentation.

Liaise with brokers, underwriters, and external service providers to facilitate underwriting, onboarding, diligence, and policy implementation.

Manage insurance coverage for data center equipment across its full lifecycle — procurement, transit, warehousing, and installation — serving as the primary liaison with logistics providers, freight forwarders, and warehousing partners to ensure adequate cargo, inland marine, and installation floater coverage at every stage.
