Requirements
3-5 years of experience in RESTful API development using Python and cloud application deployments
3-5 years of experience with legacy core banking applications and data formats (e.g., NACHA, ISO 20022).
Hands-on experience with Azure, ETL tools and building data pipelines
Knowledge of Postgres, S3, AWS API Gateway, AWS Lambda, Git and Docker.
Strong understanding and of microservice architecture patterns.
Including asynchronous RESTful API patterns.
Responsibilities
The Applications Engineer will assist with the development of the bank’s internal API infrastructure.
You will be responsible for the development of API microservices around the bank’s core applications, delivering scalable solutions to internal stakeholders, vendors, and partners.
You will interface with the banks application system layer APIs and develop internal libraries for further layers of abstraction.
Assists with the design and development of internal libraries interfacing with the bank’s applications.
Assists with the design and development of RESTful API microservices, managing API versions and lifecycles.
Assists with the management of the bank’s development technology stack.
