Root Cause Analysis: Proven track record of debugging complex, ambiguous, and multi-faceted issues spanning the hardware-software-firmware boundary.
HIL Validation: Extensive experience developing, configuring, and operating Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test benches to execute automated firmware regression testing.
Lifecycle Knowledge: Strong understanding of the automotive product development lifecycle, including software release processes, change management, and long-term schedule planning.
Advanced, hands-on experience with industry-standard tools: Vector CANalyzer/CANoe, dSPACE (ControlDesk/ConfigurationDesk), Polarion, Jira, and Confluence.
Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (CAN, CAN-FD) and functional safety standards (ISO 26262, ASIL-D).
Responsibilities
Drive Technical Specifications: Author, refine, and maintain comprehensive technical specifications for brake controls, collaborating closely with external suppliers and cross-functional internal teams.
Supplier Management: Lead suppliers in the development of brake control functions to meet prescribed performance targets and ensuring delivery of FW releases in time for company milestones.
Advance Diagnostic Tooling: Design and develop robust diagnostic scripts and tools to streamline system troubleshooting and validation.
Lead Firmware Validation: Partner with suppliers to design, adapt, and execute rigorous test plans and firmware regression suites, ensuring all deadlines and project milestones are met.
Own Defect Resolution: Lead the triage, resolution, and impact assessment of supplier firmware defects by leveraging insights from architecture and system design teams.
Collaborate Across Domains: Partner with multidisciplinary experts in AI, Mechatronics, Computer Vision, and Robotics to integrate cutting-edge innovations into the core vehicle platform.
