Requirements
JD and membership in a state bar or the District of Columbia bar
At least 8 years of experience in government, biglaw, or a combination, drafting FAR and DFARS contracts
Experience advising defense technology companies
A practical, solution-oriented approach to practicing law
An ability to translate legal concepts to non-lawyer audiences
An ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
Compensation & Benefits
$150,000 – $220,000+
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are considered art of Neros' total compensation package.

Responsibilities
The Associate General Counsel, Commercial will serve as a close advisor to the business development and supply chain teams, taking a flexible, “revenue first” approach to streamlining contract approval and ensuring favorable terms for the company. The AGC will design and administer the company’s process for reviewing, revising, and approving all commercial contracts. Will work closely with Neros’ General Counsel and Export Control Officer in stewarding Neros’ FAR and DFARS compliance — ensuring excellence and signaling reliability to our government agency customers.
