Tooling Technician (Mold Maker)

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or equivalent

5+ years of experience in mold making, mold design, and/or mold processes strongly preferred

Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

Mechanical aptitude.

PAY RANGE:

$25 - $40/hr USD Hourly

SHIFT SCHEDULE:

12-Hour, Rotating Shifts (2-2-3 Rotating Schedule, requiring work every other weekend) from 6:00 AM to 6:15 PM

Position Purpose: Maintain all tooling and support production with mold repair/maintenance operations

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Support and maintain all policies of the company including but not limited to ISO Standards, Health and Safety Requirements, Continuous Improvement, as well as standard work procedures.

Interact with engineering, production, and tooling staff when troubleshooting molds.

Identify solutions to complex molding and mold problems as they pertain to injection molding manufacturing.

Create work orders for service of all molds and maintain records as required.
